I am currently a postdoctoral associate in cognitive neuroscience. My research examines the cognitive and neural bases of communication in adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The goal of my research is to show how the relationship between gesture and speech contributes to communication impairments in ASD, and how it can be used to facilitate successful communication.
